Alex LaVallee has worked in a variety of roles since 2005. Alex began their career as a Youth Counselor at Cheshire Parks and Recreation. In 2009, they took on an Administrative Assistant role at the University of Vermont - Residential Life. In 2012, they became an Assistant Manager (Front End) at Shop Rite. From 2013 to 2021, they worked at Vail Resorts in various roles, such as Assistant Manager (Retail), Store Manager - Multiple Locations (Rentals and Retail), Manager (Rentals and Retail), Assistant Manager (Rentals and Retail), and Product Sales Supervisor. Currently, they are a Customer Support Expert at Follow Up Boss.

Alex LaVallee began their educational journey in 2004 at Cheshire High School, where they graduated in 2008. Alex then attended the University of Vermont, earning a BA in Sociology and a minor in Business Administration in 2012. During their time at the University of Vermont, Alex also studied abroad at City, University of London in 2010-2011, focusing on sociology and international business.
