Chief Operating Officer at Follow Up Boss

Sam Glover has worked in various roles since 2008. Sam began their career as a Research Associate/Laboratory Director at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they established standard operating procedures, developed scientific protocols, created an inventory system, set up a shared network for use by the UNC Hemostasis and Thrombosis group, and trained undergraduate students. Sam then moved on to Invitrox, Inc. as the Laboratory Operations Director and Technical Analyst, managing, directing, and developing laboratory operations. In 2011, they took on the role of Operations and Product at Shoeboxed, before becoming Co-Founder and COO of Zip-Services in 2013, where they founded and built a company focused on disrupting the commercial laundry and linen industry. In 2016, they joined Startup High Country as Co-Founder, where they and their team had a unique ability to come at problems from multiple angles and ultimately turn them into opportunities, as well as paving the way for startup investment capital in the area. In 2018, they became Managing Partner at Village Venture Group, and in 2019 they took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at Follow Up Boss.

Sam Glover attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2004 to 2008 and earned a BS in Biology and Chemistry. Sam then attended the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Public Health from 2008 to 2009 and earned a Masters Certificate in Core Concepts in Public Health.
