Aselia Valadez Melo

Aselia Valadez Melo currently serves as the Dean of Student Success at Folsom Lake College, overseeing categorical programs and student services while also functioning as the Title IX Coordinator. Prior to this role, Aselia was the TRIO SSS Director for Cosumnes River College, managing federal programs aimed at supporting first-generation and disadvantaged students. Aselia's tenure at Los Rios Community College District included various counseling and program coordination positions, focusing on diverse student populations and resource allocation for Native American education and foster youth services. Academically, Aselia holds a Master of Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco, and is pursuing a Certificate in Grant Writing and Non-profit Management from California State University-San Bernardino, along with a Bachelor of Science in Career and Technical Studies from California State University-Sacramento.
