Erica Imaoka

Erica Imaoka, DNP, CNM, currently serves as a Clinical Instructor at Jersey College, specializing in maternal/infant health, pediatrics, and mental health for nursing students. Simultaneously, Erica works as a Certified Nurse Midwife at FOLX Health, providing trauma-informed care for the LGBTQ community. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Clinical Programs at Nomi Health, contributing to the development of clinical and operational standards, and previously holding various nursing roles, including Registered Nurse at A Woman's Choice, Inc. Erica co-founded Doula Squad Chicago, offering comprehensive birth and postpartum support, and worked as a Birth Doula and Childbirth Educator with Rainbow Birth. Erica holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Baylor University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from North Park University, graduating magna cum laude.
