Mikaila Waters (she/her)

Mikaila Waters (she/her) has a strong background in product management and design. Mikaila is currently working as the Head of Product at FOLX Health since April 2021. Previously, they worked at Wayfair, where they held multiple roles. Mikaila served as an Associate Director, On Road Technologies from August 2020 to April 2021. Before that, they were a Senior Product Manager from September 2018 to August 2020, leading a team in building an enterprise platform for Wayfair's transportation supply chain. Mikaila also worked as a Product Manager from December 2017 to September 2018, focusing on establishing an omnichannel platform for Wayfair's sales and service business, including delivering a new chat service.

Prior to joining Wayfair, Mikaila worked at Kuvée as a Product Design Lead from April 2017 to December 2017, and at PatientPing as a Product Design Lead from January 2016 to April 2017. Mikaila co-founded Gradeable and served as the Director of Product/UX from February 2014 to December 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Designer at Gradeable from March 2012 to December 2015.

Mikaila also gained experience as a Design Intern at KVA (Kennedy & Violich Architecture, Ltd.) in January to February 2012 and at ANTS OF THE PRAIRIE from January to May 2011.

Mikaila Waters (she/her) pursued their education with a focus on architecture. Mikaila obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University at Buffalo, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Following their undergraduate studies, Mikaila continued to further their architectural knowledge by completing a Master of Architecture (MArch) degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Their studies at MIT spanned from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Mikaila also participated in a Full Stack Web Development Apprenticeship through The Firehose Project, although specific dates for this experience were not provided.
