Narayan Prasad Valavala

Narayan Prasad Valavala has a diverse and extensive work experience in the mining industry. Narayan started as a Trainee Mining Engineer at Fomento in 1993 and then moved on to work as a Mining Engineer/Assistant Manager at Sri Chakra Cements Limited. In 2000, they joined Anjani Portland Cements Ltd as an Assistant Manager (Mines) and later worked as a Deputy Manager (Mines) at Andhra Cements Limited.

Narayan Prasad then returned to Fomento in 2005 and held various positions including Manager (Mines), Senior Manager (Mines), Deputy General Manager (Mines), General Manager (Mines) in different locations such as Goa, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra. Narayan'sfocus has been on sustainable mining practices and responsible resource management, integrating environmental preservation with resource extraction. As of July 2021, Narayan Prasad is the Head of Mineral Resources at Fomento, where they lead business development, operations, and oversees the legal and financial aspects of mining projects. Narayan has accumulated exceptional thirty years of experience in the mining industry.

Narayan Prasad Valavala has a diverse education history. Narayan holds a B.Tech in Mining Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University and a Master of Technology in Environmental Engineering from SPSU Udaipur. Narayan also obtained a Diploma in Engineering with a specialization in Mining from the State Board of Technical Education and Training from 1989 to 1993.

In addition to their formal education, Narayan Prasad Valavala has earned two certifications. Narayan obtained a First Class Mines Manager Certificate(R) under MMR 1961 from the Directorate General Of Mines Safety in April 2005. In April 1998, they also received a First Aid - Medallian certification from the St. John Ambulance Association - India.
