Sean Copeland

Sean Copeland has extensive legal experience, serving as Tribal Attorney and General Counsel for the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa since November 2010. Prior to this role, Sean held positions as Assistant Prosecutor for the Rosebud Sioux Tribe and Attorney at the Northwest Defenders Association. Additionally, Sean gained valuable experience as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Minnesota Court of Appeals and as a Legal Intern in the Tribal Public Defender's Office for the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate. Sean earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University.
