Abderrahim Aasfar

Abderrahim Aasfar is a bio-engineer with extensive experience in advanced science and research. Currently employed at MAScIR - Moroccan Foundation for Advanced Science, Innovation and Research since September 2016, Abderrahim has focused on various projects in the bioengineering field. Previously, from February to July 2016, Abderrahim completed an internship at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Casablanca, where the research involved the contributions of cytogenetics to medicine, particularly in the study of hematological malignancies and microdeletion syndromes. This work included molecular and genetic diagnostics of Williams syndrome and chronic myeloid leukemia using karyotyping and PCR techniques. Abderrahim holds a master's degree in bioengineering from Fst Settat, completed between 2014 and 2016, and a bachelor's degree in biochemistry, genetics, and microbiology from the same institution, earned from 2011 to 2014.
