Matteo Gerosa

Matteo Gerosa is an experienced professional currently serving as a Consultant at the World Bank Group since October 2021. Prior to this, Matteo has been at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK-irst) since July 2007, holding positions including Head of Project Management Group and Project Manager. In these roles, responsibilities encompass developing the strategy for the Digital Society Center, managing high-quality projects, overseeing a team of Project and Program Managers, and engaging with stakeholders in digital transformation. Matteo's earlier experience includes post-doctoral research at the University of Southern California, focused on automatic speech recognition and natural language processing, as well as academic research on speech recognition and language learning funded by a post-doc grant in the Province of Trento. Matteo holds a PhD in Information and Communication Technologies and a Laurea in Physics from Università di Trento.
