Riccardo Gallotti

Riccardo Gallotti is the Head of Unit at Fondazione Bruno Kessler - FBK since October 2018, leading the Complex Human Behaviour Unit and specializing in data-informed statistical modeling to explore individual behavior and collective interactions. Previously, Riccardo held roles as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at IFISC and CEA, focusing on the interactions of transportation networks and human mobility. Early career experience includes a Visiting Researcher position at Universidad Nacional de San Martín and several postdoctoral roles at the University of Bologna, emphasizing statistical modeling of human mobility using large datasets. Riccardo earned a PhD in Applied Physics focusing on Complex Systems from Università di Bologna, complemented by a Master's degree in Theoretical Physics from the same institution, alongside additional studies in Physics through the Erasmus Program and a Bachelor's degree.
