Gabriele Lodi

Gabriele Lodi is a Senior Digital IC Designer with extensive experience in research and development, currently contributing to RISCV-based architectures and Open-EDA at Fondazione Chips-IT since October 2025. Previously, Gabriele held multiple roles at Eggtronic from February 2019 to September 2025, including Senior Digital IC Designer, where significant involvement included the design and verification process of general-purpose mixed-signal MCUs and a custom RISCV-based ASIC microcontroller. Gabriele's work encompassed system-level specifications, RTL design, functional verification, synthesis, physical implementation, and production test definition. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, and a Visiting Graduate Researcher position at the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, Gabriele participated in a summer school at ETH Zürich focusing on Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
