Massimiliano Gnecchi

Massimiliano Gnecchi is an established academic and medical professional specializing in cardiology, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Università degli Studi di Pavia since October 2010, and as Director of Translational Cardiology at Fondazione I.R.C.C.S. Policlinico San Matteo Pavia since January 2023. Gnecchi holds significant leadership roles within the International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy, including Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Chair of the Cardiovascular Committee. Additionally, Gnecchi is involved with the European Society of Cardiology and the University of Cape Town as an Honorary Professor.
