Sharon Gesthuizen

Sharon Gesthuizen currently serves as a member of the supervisory board at Fonds Podiumkunsten and as the Director of Art & Design at ArtEZ Institute of the Arts. With extensive experience in governance, Sharon has held advisory roles at SVB Sociale Verzekeringsbank and has been the Vice Chair of the Supervisory Board at Stichting Vluchteling. Previous positions include leadership roles at Stroom Den Haag and Kunstfort bij Vijfhuizen, along with chairing various organizations such as AFNL-NOA and Festival Classique. Sharon's political background includes serving as a member of the Tweede Kamer der Staten-Generaal for over a decade. Educational qualifications encompass a Bachelor's degree in Autonomous Visual Arts from ArtEZ University of the Arts and studies in English Language and Literature at Radboud University.
