Mickael Galvani

Mickael Galvani has extensive work experience in various roles within the financial industry. Mickael currently serves as an Investment Director at the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, a position they have held since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Desjardins Capital from 2016 to 2021, first as the Director of Fund Management and Partnerships, and later as the Director of Financial Analysis and Due Diligence.

Before joining Desjardins Capital, Galvani gained experience at RBC where they worked as an Associate in the National Client Group from 2013 to 2016. Mickael also has a background in transaction support and audit, having held various managerial positions at EY from 2003 to 2012. During this time, they were involved in financial due diligence, transaction advisory services, and external auditing.

Galvani's early career involved internships at Krauthammer, where they conducted a study on competition, and at Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, where they implemented a cost control tool and provided advice on improving profitability.

Mickael Galvani began their education at Alexandre Dumas pre-high school and completed their French Baccalaureate between 1995 and 1998. Mickael then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Université Robert Schuman from 1998 to 2000. Subsequently, Mickael enrolled at University Robert Schuman again to pursue a Master's degree in Management from 2000 to 2002. Finally, they attended the EM Strasbourg Business School from 2002 to 2003, where they obtained a Master's degree specializing in Accounting, focusing on external and internal audit.
