Alexander Petrovic-Stevanov has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alexander started their career in 2003 as a Technical Support Engineer at Technische Universität Graz and later worked as a Print Layouter & Web-Designer at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz. In 2005, they began working as a Software- & Database Developer as a freelancer.
In 2007, they joined Archivium Dokumentenarchiv GmbH as a Senior Technical Support Engineer. After that, they moved to Süddeutscher Verlag GmbH in 2011, where they held multiple roles including Project Manager Digital Services & Print Publishing Technology, Head of Data Management, and eventually became the Head of Development and Operations.
Most recently, since 2018, Alexander has been working at Fonds Soziales Wien (FSW), initially as the Chief Product Owner and later taking on the role of Head of IT Business Services and CISO (Chief Information Security Officer).
Alexander Petrovic-Stevanov began their education at Hohere Internatsschule des Bundes Graz-Liebenau from 1990 to 1995. Alexander then attended Bundeshandelsakademie Deutschlandsberg from 1995 to 2000 where they obtained their Matura degree in Controlling und Unternehmensfuhrung. Alexander continued their studies at Karl-Franzens-Universitat Graz from 2000 to 2006, focusing on Betriebswirtschaftslehre. Following this, Alexander attended the University of Vienna from 2006 to 2012, earning their Mag. degree in Politikwissenschaften. Most recently, they completed a Master of Science in Engineering (MSc) in IT Security at Fachhochschule Technikum Wien from 2018 to 2020.
