Gilles Freddy Feutmba is an R&D Engineer at Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) since January 2018, focusing on the design, fabrication, and characterization of PZT-based Pockels modulators for integrating multiple sensors in Lidars and nonlinear characterization of PZT thin films. Previously, Gilles held positions as a Photonics Engineer at FBGS, where responsibilities included laboratory measurements and development of fiber optic sensors, and as an Engineering Intern at the same company with emphasis on shape sensing and spectral characterization of fiber Bragg gratings. Earlier experience includes an internship as an Internet Support Technician at CAMTEL, where support was provided for various internet services. Gilles holds a PhD in Photonics Engineering and a Master's degree in Photonics from Ghent University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Buea.
