Miguel Bhagubai

Miguel Bhagubai is a PhD Fellow at Research Foundation Flanders - FWO, focusing on Strategic Basic Research since November 2021. Previously, Miguel served as a PhD Researcher at KU Leuven from July 2020 to November 2021, specializing in AI-based decision support for epilepsy monitoring. Miguel's early career included a role as a Researcher at the University of Twente and an internship in the Artificial Hands Department at Instituto di Biorobotica - Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna. Additionally, Miguel was a Project Manager and technical department member at JUNITEC, where Miguel developed the "BioReC - Biological Remote Control" project. Miguel also held the position of Communications Department Coordinator at Núcleo de Engenharia Biomédica do Instituto Superior Técnico and completed a project management training at Findmore Consulting. Miguel holds a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Twente and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, complemented by a musical education at Conservatório de Música D. Dinis.
