Wouter Muijres

Wouter Muijres is a doctoral student at Fonds Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek - Vlaanderen (FWO) and KU Leuven, focusing on understanding the factors leading to falls during the initiation of a step. Prior experience includes a research internship at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where Wouter examined mechanisms behind balance and gait in older individuals, and various roles as a physiotherapist in multiple healthcare settings, including neurology and orthopaedics. Wouter holds a Master's degree in Human Movement Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Avans University of Applied Sciences, respectively.
