Jan Tore managed various projects and was involved in the upgrade of the Oseberg Sør HMI system. Integrated operations and remote testing were utilized in this project.

Jan Tore Grindheim attended Bømlo Vidaregåande Skule from 1998 to 2001, where they earned their high school diploma. After completing high school, they went on to study at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. From 2001 to 2004, Jan Tore Grindheim pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics at this institution.
