Victoria Peddie

Victoria Peddie is an Associate Intellectual Property Portfolio Manager at Fonterra since May 2023, specializing in conducting patent database searches and maintaining the Anaqua IP database. Previously, Victoria served as a Patent Examiner at the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand from September 2019 to May 2023, where responsibilities included examining chemistry patent applications and analyzing complex data for compliance and risk evaluation. Prior experience includes an ARC Research Fellow at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Nanoscale BioPhotonics, leading interdisciplinary projects in drug design, and postdoctoral research roles at The University of Tokyo and Industrial Research Ltd, focusing on anticancer compounds and organic chromophores. Victoria holds a Ph.D. and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Chemistry from the University of Canterbury.
