Oscar Fan has a diverse range of work experience. Oscar started their career as a Cooker at McDonald's Corporation in 2013. From 2014 to 2016, Oscar worked as a Swimming Instructor at Stanford Swim School, where they developed skills in handling children effectively, being patient, and communicating effectively.

In 2019, Oscar transitioned into the tech industry as a Data Entry Operator at TIMG. Later that year, they became a Software Engineer at Aspaclear, where they improved software functionality, refactored legacy Java code, and collaborated with the founder to redesign the user interface.

In 2020, Oscar briefly pursued entrepreneurship as the Founder of bouChic. Wines, an idea developed during the Peter Farrell Cup at UNSW. The concept aimed to bring the boutique winery experience to customers' doorsteps during the COVID pandemic.

In 2021, Oscar joined LoanOptions.ai as a Web Developer, analyzing data on leads to develop APIs for brokers and building a loan application tracker using React. These efforts reduced client calls and improved broker efficiency.

Currently, Oscar works at Fonto as a Full-stack Developer. Oscar developed the new Humaniti web and native app using Ionic and VueJS, resulting in a 10% reduction in churn and a 20% increase in user conversions. Oscar collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure the app meets business and technical requirements.

Oscar Fan completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at UNSW from 2016 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended Normanhurst Boys High School from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained their HSC.
