Kipngeno Cheruiyot is a seasoned agricultural professional with extensive experience in agronomy and agricultural extension. Currently serving as a Field Agronomist at FAO since September 2025, Kipngeno previously held various roles within the County Government of Turkana from September 2010 to September 2025, including Sub County Agricultural Officer and Senior Agricultural Officer. In these capacities, Kipngeno led teams in implementing livelihoods and resilience projects impacting thousands of refugees and host communities, managed significant project portfolios in collaboration with international organizations, and coordinated agribusiness initiatives. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Agricultural Extension from the University of Kabianga and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Egerton University, among other credentials.
