Donna Fitzgerald currently serves as a patient volunteer at Lighthouse Hospice, LLC, providing companionship and emotional support to hospice patients since August 2022. Additionally, since July 2021, Donna has volunteered at the Food Bank of South Jersey. Donna has extensive experience in the IKEA Group, holding various roles from May 2005 to August 2020, including Solution Analyst IT, IKEA Food Business Support US, Food Commercial Manager–US, and PQS (Storepoint) Super User–US. In these positions, responsibilities included database management, supporting commercial range presentations, and developing sales and marketing strategies. Donna studied at Rutgers University - Camden.

The Food Bank of South Jersey provides food to people in need, delivers health and wellness programs, and designs sustainable solutions to help people improve their lives. We operate on one simple premise: food should not be wasted when hungry people are in our midst. From this truth, FBSJ has built an effective food distribution program that annually links over 12 million pounds of food with more than 250 charitable food providers, such as food pantries, soup kitchens and emergency shelters. The Food Bank of South Jersey is the largest source of government and non-government food assistance in South Jersey and is the largest agency in South Jersey. Our mission is to eliminate hunger and malnutrition by ensuring that wholesome surplus food reaches people in need. Our centralized food donation and distribution system is a vital community link ensuring that low-income and disadvantaged residents can access free groceries and wholesome meals from a charitable food provider in their neighborhood.
