Omar Ramirez

Omar Ramirez is currently the Regional Program Director for Food Connect, driving forward the company's mission in the Midwest. With experience as a Founder of Ramirez Health, LLC, Wellness Consultant at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, Client Engagement Consultant at Cigna, and Alzheimer's Prevention Program Coordinator at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Omar has a strong background in public health and wellness. Ramirez also served as a Wellness Program Manager at Regional West Health Services and a Research Assistant at Kansas State University. Omar is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
