Mark Barr

Mark Barr is an experienced legal professional and leader with a robust career spanning several decades. Currently serving as Chairman of the Commissioners of Irish Lights since July 2013, Mark also holds positions as Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair for both Lahinch Investments ICAV and Amundi Real Estate Fund One ICAV. Additionally, Mark is a member of the Development Council at UCD Sutherland School of Law and has contributed to the Conveyancing Committee of the Law Society of Ireland until December 2023. Mark's previous roles include Consultant and Partner at Arthur Cox, where Mark led the Commercial Real Estate department, and Partner and Associate at Matheson. Mark's educational background includes a Bachelor of Civil Law from University College Dublin, a Solicitor qualification from the Law Society of Ireland, and a Diploma in Dispute Resolution from University College Dublin.
