Bonnie Chavez

Bonnie Chavez is an experienced professional with a strong background in development operations and child sponsorship. Since June 2019, Bonnie has served as the Sr Manager of Development Operation Initiatives at Food for the Hungry, Inc., where the focus is on engaging child sponsors to enhance donor retention and relationships. From 2002 to 2013, Bonnie held the position of Director of Child Sponsor Services at the same organization, implementing strategies for acquiring and maintaining sponsorships. Prior experience includes a management role at America West Airlines, overseeing daily operations and staff management, as well as volunteer work as a Court Appointed Special Advocate and a board member for Arizonans for Children, emphasizing commitment to supporting vulnerable youth. Bonnie holds a degree from Grand Canyon University.
