Mark Khouri is EVP & Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he provides strategic leadership for the efficiency, effectiveness, and continued growth of the organization’s major operations. He has more than 17 years of experience in charity and international development, primarily in the Caribbean and Latin America.
Mark previously served as Director of Gifts in Kind, leading the department responsible for the procurement and transportation of donated goods. He has managed a network of international partnerships across the 18 countries served, as wells as a network of NGOs and corporate donors.
In his new role, Mark will lead Shipping, Purchasing, Gifts in Kind, Projects, Angels of Hope, Missions, Government Programs and Strategic Partnerships. To better serve the poor, Mark and his teams will focus on designing sustainable solutions, in addition to organizing relief actions.
Mark is a Jamaican-born U.S. citizen and graduate of Florida State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He lives in South Florida with his wife, Marlene. They have three adult sons. Mark is bilingual in English and Spanish.
