Crystal FitzSimons has extensive experience in child nutrition and policy advocacy, currently serving as the Interim President and Director of Child Nutrition Programs and Policy at the Food Research & Action Center. Previous roles include Director of School and Out-of-School Time Programs at the same organization and Regional Outreach Director at Stand for Children. Crystal began a career in organizing as the Director of Organizing at Housing Comes First and gained foundational policy experience as a Policy Intern at the Center for Community Change. Crystal holds a Master of Social Work in Social and Economic Development from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Sociology from Carroll University.
