Mahesh Karki

Mahesh Karki has a strong background in microbiology, with experience in both laboratory work and teaching. From 2023, they worked as a Microbiology Laboratory Technician at Food Safety Net Services. Prior to this, they gained valuable experience at Texas A&M University-Commerce, where they served as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant from 2019 to 2023. In this role, they developed and implemented interactive microbiology lab exercises, resulting in increased student comprehension and engagement. Mahesh also created an efficient system for organizing lab equipment and supplies. Before their time at the university, Mahesh worked as a QC Officer at Kamdhenu Dairy Development Co-Operative LTD from 2017 to 2019. In this position, they conducted routine and non-routine testing to ensure quality standards were met and monitored sanitation and hygiene practices to ensure compliance. Mahesh Karki completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Microbiology, General from Texas A&M University-Commerce from 2019 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology, General from Central Campus of Technology from 2014 to 2017.
