Peter Herz

Peter Herz is a seasoned professional in the venture capital and technology sectors with a focus on food system innovation. As General Partner at 1st Course Capital since April 2019, Peter supports early-stage investments in transformative food initiatives. Peter co-founded Food System 6 in June 2014, serving as CFO and board member, to promote a regenerative food system. Previous roles include CEO of irisnote, Inc., President of Entelos, and various leadership positions at 3ware, Inc. and Infineon Technologies. Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University and A-levels from Eastbourne College.
