Renske Lynde

Renske Lynde is a General Partner at 1st Course Capital, an early stage venture capital firm focused on transforming the food system through innovative business models and technologies. As a Food Leaders Fellow with The Aspen Institute, Renske explores increasing diversity in the venture capital industry. In addition, Renske serves as Board President of Food System 6, a non-profit accelerator supporting impact-driven entrepreneurs in the food sector. Renske co-founded and angel invests in multiple early stage companies aimed at food system transformation, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and social impact. Past roles include Associate Director of Policy & Advocacy at the San Francisco Food Bank and strategic consulting for various non-profit organizations. Renske holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley and is currently pursuing advanced education in yoga studies.
