Thomas Meyer possesses extensive experience in organizing and climate advocacy, currently serving as the Strategic Organizing Projects Director at Food & Water Watch since January 2015, following roles as National Climate Organizing Manager, Regional Organizing Manager, and Senior Organizer. Prior experience includes positions at 350.org as a Campus Organizing Associate and Fossil Free Fellow, as well as an Organizing Intern at Chesapeake Climate Action Network. Thomas co-founded and led a fossil fuel divestment campaign at American University while also working as a Teaching Assistant and Visitor Use Assistant. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a Minor in Environmental Science from American University, completed in 2014.
