Marlise A. Barta is an experienced audio engineer and event coordinator currently employed at Fooda since February 2022, where notable projects include work on a feature-length documentary about Flannery O'Connor and various collaborations with DePaul University and Project Bluelight. With a freelance career beginning in December 2004, Marlise has engineered numerous music recordings, voice-over sessions, and live sound operations. Previous roles include live sound assistant engineer at Little River Stage Productions, part-time assistant at Airstream Audio, and engineer/studio manager at A&D Studios. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Sound Design from DePaul University and a technical certificate in Audio Engineering from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences.
