Matthew Staver

Matthew Staver has over 15 years of work experience in various technology leadership roles. Matthew is currently serving as the VP of Software Engineering at FoodChain ID since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Verdant Services, Inc as the Chief Technology Officer, where they led the development of a cloud-based SaaS solution for Fortune 500 food and beverage manufacturers. Matthew also served as the Cloud Services Practice Lead at Verdant Services from 2014 to 2019. Before that, they worked as the Director of Information Technology at Kraco Enterprises, LLC from 2012 to 2014. Matthew also founded Watchbox Media, Inc, where they served as the Founder and Director of Operations, overseeing a video on demand distribution platform. Additionally, they held the position of Vice President of Information Technology at Luminance from 2010 to 2012, and worked as an Information Technology Manager at Pentel of America from 2006 to 2010.

Matthew Staver completed their Bachelor's degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley from 1998 to 2003.
