Patricia Battle

Patricia Battle has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Patricia is currently the Director of Software Engineering at FoodChain ID, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Program Manager at the same company starting in March 2021.

Before joining FoodChain ID, Patricia worked at ACI Worldwide from 2018 to 2021. During this time, they held roles such as Supervisor Business Process and Senior Business Process Analyst. In these positions, they focused on Organizational Change Management (OCM), working closely with project managers and team members to develop communication strategies for high-profile projects and fostering internal social networks for IT project champions within the organization.

In 2018, Patricia also worked as a Business Process Analyst on a contract basis at Thompson Technologies. Patricia has prior teaching experience as well, having worked as a Mathematics and Sciences Teacher from 2001 to 2018 while being self-employed. Additionally, they served as a Project Manager at RightFit from 2007 to 2010.

Patricia's career began in 1996 at the University of Georgia Warnell School of Forest Resources, where they held positions as a Research Technician III and later as a Research Coordinator I from 1998 to 2001.

Overall, Patricia brings a wealth of experience in software engineering, program management, business process analysis, and change management to their current role as Director of Software Engineering at FoodChain ID.

Patricia Battle earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Patricia then pursued a Masters of Information Technology degree, specializing in Information Technology Project Management, at Capella University, completing it in 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Patricia Battle has obtained certifications to enhance their professional skills. Patricia earned the "Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM)" certification from the Scrum Alliance in September 2022. Prior to that, in December 2021, they obtained the "Certified Agile Leadership for Teams (CAL-T)" certification, also from the Scrum Alliance.
