Mohamed Hafez

Mohamed Hafez has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mohamed started their career as a Senior Auditor at Juma Al Majid Group in 2001. Mohamed then worked as an Audit Manager at KPMG Hazem Hassan from 2004 to 2006. Following that, they joined Moore Stephens as an Audit Manager from 2006 to 2008.

In 2008, Mohamed joined Ali & Sons Holding LLC as the Group Chief Audit Executive. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in establishing the internal audit function and was a key member of the Executive Management Team. Mohamed successfully implemented Risk Based Audit Methodology and led various audit projects.

In 2018, Mohamed transitioned to Hily Holding P.J.S.C. as the Chief Financial Officer. Later that year, they also took on the role of Chief Financial Officer at Foodco National Foodstuff UAE. Currently, they hold the position of Managing Director at Foodco National Foodstuff UAE.

Mohamed has demonstrated their expertise in financial management, internal auditing, and corporate governance throughout their career. Mohamed has been recognized for their strategic insights and advisory role to top executives.

Mohamed Hafez holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from Mansoura University, which they obtained from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting at the same university from 1991 to 1994. In addition to their degrees, Mohamed also obtained the certifications of Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2004 and Chartered Accountant from MOF in 1999.
