Agnese Ruggiero is a seasoned professional in climate policy and advocacy with a robust background in managing global campaigns and stakeholder engagement. Currently serving as Senior Manager for Climate & Food at FoodDrinkEurope since November 2023, Ruggiero previously held key positions at Carbon Gap and Carbon Market Watch, focusing on EU carbon market policies and industrial decarbonisation. Ruggiero’s expertise encompasses strategic communication, coalition building, and policy analysis, demonstrated during the tenure as Campaign Manager for World Kidney Day, where coordination and representation at scientific events were critical. Additional experience includes roles in business development within the International Society of Nephrology and an internship at the European Parliament, complemented by academic credentials in Global Health and Economics from Maastricht University and Università Bocconi.
