Kerstin Völkner

Kerstin Völkner has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Kerstin is currently working as the Head of Marketing at Foodji since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Lecturer in ATL Communications at the International School of Management, Germany starting from October 2022. In between, they took a maternity leave from June 2022 to April 2023.

Before their current roles, Kerstin worked at Linde where they held various positions. From April 2018 to May 2022, they served as the EMEA Manager Sales & Channel Effectiveness. Kerstin also took a maternity leave from January 2017 to March 2018. Previously, they worked as the Global Program Manager Customer Experience & Segmentation from June 2014 to December 2016 and as the Global Manager Marketing Process Excellence from September 2011 to May 2014.

In 2010, Kerstin went on a round-the-world trip and also worked as a Marketing Consultant at Holiday Inn in Cardiff, UK, as part of a consulting project for their MSc in Strategic Marketing.

Kerstin'searlier experiences include roles at Rio Tinto Alcan - Composites Division, where they worked as the Manager Strategic Marketing & Head of Marketing Communications from July 2008 to September 2009, as the Head of Marketing Communications from September 2005 to September 2009, and as the Marketing Communications Manager from September 2004 to September 2005.

Kerstin also worked as a Trainee as part of their Bachelor Studies at Alcan Singen GmbH from September 2001 to September 2004. Kerstin also had a trainee role at Flite Line Corp. in Miami, USA from August 2003 to December 2003.

Kerstin Völkner holds a MSc in Strategic Marketing from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, which they obtained from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (formerly known as "Berufsakademie") / University of Cooperative Education from 2001 to 2004. Kerstin earned a degree in International Business, receiving the title of Diplom Betriebswirtin / Bachelor of Arts (Hons.). In addition to their formal education, Kerstin Völkner has obtained several certifications, including Professional Agile Leadership I from Scrum.org in March 2023, Professional Scrum Product Owner from Scrum.org in July 2021, and Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in December 2018.
