Saul Schuster has a diversified work experience, starting in 2008 as a Cook at Richardson's Canal House and then transitioning to the role of Garde Manger at Rooney's Restaurant. In 2013, Saul worked as an Intern with Deputy County Administrator at the Tompkins County Department of Administration, where they gained experience in grant writing, research, and web portal creation. From 2014 to 2014, Saul volunteered at Hospicare & Palliative Care Services of Tompkins County, providing companionship and managing inventory in the kitchen. In 2017, Saul worked as a Research Assistant at Lincoln Square Legal Services until 2019, before joining Headwater Food Hub as a Supply Chain Manager until June 2022. Saul also served as a Research Staff at ProDESC for a few months in 2018. Most recently, Saul has held positions such as Managing Partner at Rochester Supper Club and Board Trustee at FRIENDS OF GANONDAGAN INC. Since April 2023, Saul has been working as the Manager of the Career Empowerment Initiative at Foodlink.

Saul Schuster has a diverse education history. Saul began their academic journey at Monroe Community College from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities. Following this, they attended Cornell University from 2012 to 2014 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Development Sociology.

Continuing their education, Schuster pursued a Master's degree in Sociomedical Sciences from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Saul studied at Columbia from 2014 to 2016. Subsequently, they attended Fordham University School of Law from 2016 to 2019 and obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
