Dr. Varun Upadhyay

Dr. Varun Upadhyay has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Dr. Varun most recently served as the Head of Vendor Operations at foodpanda since July 2020. Prior to that, they were the Head of Programme Management at Rajasthan Patrika Pvt. Ltd. from May 2019 to January 2020.

From 2014 to 2019, Dr. Upadhyay worked at Flipkart, where they held multiple positions, including Associate Director of Heading PM-CoE and Quality, Associate Director of Service Management & Escalations, Associate Director of Biz Ops, Associate Director of Partner Management, and Senior Manager of Partner Management.

Before joining Flipkart, they served as the Regional Manager (West Zone) at Haiko Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. from April 2012 to May 2014. Prior to that, Dr. Upadhyay worked as the Senior Manager of Business Process & Quality at LIVIA Pvt. Ltd. from November 2009 to March 2012.

Dr. Varun'sprevious experiences include roles such as Manager of Client Relations at Birla Sunlife Asset Management Company from March 2008 to November 2009, Process Leader at Prudential from July 2004 to March 2008, and Client Activation Unit (CAU) at Daksh e Services in 2003.

Dr. Varun Upadhyay completed their BHMS degree in Homoeopathy from AMSHMC from 1991 to 1996. In 2007, they obtained a certification in Mutual Funds from the Association of Mutual Funds in India. Dr. Varun also attended St Pius X High School from 1979 to 1989. Dr. Upadhyay has additional certifications including the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner Certificates in Project Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice, the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance, and PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner Certification Training from Simplilearn.
