Roopal Vijayvergiya is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commercial operations and strategic management in the e-commerce sector. Currently serving as Director of Commercial, Ads, and Partnerships at foodpanda since July 2021, Roopal has previously held significant roles, including Director of Operations and Restaurant Commercial and Director of Operations in foodpanda Thailand. Prior tenure includes positions at Alibaba Group as SVP, Head of Payments & Category Director of Digital Goods, as well as co-Chief Marketplace Officer at Lazada Group, where Roopal successfully doubled the seller base and enhanced local product offerings.
