Anya Doherty is the founder and CEO of Foodsteps, a food waste management company. Anya has a background in research, having worked as a postgraduate researcher at the University of Cambridge Conservation Research Institute from September 2018 to April 2021. Her research focused on improving methods for calculating the environmental impacts of food. Anya also co-led the largest experimental trial that has been done to date into environmental labeling of food items with PhD researchers in the Dept of Behavioural Economics.
Anya Doherty achieved a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Anya also gained an A* in Biology, Chemistry, Theirtory and Mathematics at A-level.
