Tom Elton

Tom Elton currently serves as the Head of Strategy & New Ventures at Foodstuffs North Island Limited, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Tom was the Strategy Capability Lead at Callaghan Innovation from March 2021 to January 2023, where responsibilities included leading the strategy function, empowering team leads, and developing long-term strategic directions for the organization and New Zealand's innovation ecosystem. Tom's earlier experience includes a managerial role at Partners in Performance from July 2019 to March 2021, focusing on business improvement, and several positions with Newton Europe from September 2012 to July 2019, progressing from Consultant to Senior Business Manager. Tom holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
