Mariëlle van der Leur

Mariëlle van der Leur is an experienced bestuursadviseur with a career spanning various roles within municipal and provincial governance. Currently serving as a bestuursadviseur at Provincie Gelderland since September 2024, Mariëlle previously held positions as a strategisch adviseur and programmamanager at Gemeente Ede, and secretary for the team opdrachtgevers Foodvalley. Earlier roles include serving as a strategic bestuursadviseur for the college of Burgemeester & Wethouders in Gemeente Zwolle, raadsgriffier in Gemeente Bronckhorst and Gemeente Montferland, and various legal and managerial positions including manager public affairs at ElaadNL and a juridical specialist at the Ministry of BZK. Mariëlle holds a Master’s degree in Law from Radboud University and has additionally studied Italian language and culture.
