Gabriel Samain

Gabriel Samain has been in the workforce since 2012. In that time, they have held a variety of roles. In 2012, they were an Élève-Réalisateur at Junior Centrale Etudes. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Work4, where they developed the backend Python, monitoring tools, and managed the production server. During this same period, they were also a Bassiste at Parallax, playing and composing music. From 2015 to present, they have been the CTO at Foodvisor, where they have leveraged their knowledge in Deep Learning and Computer Vision to develop state-of-the-art algorithms that can detect food items on a plate, evaluate the quantity of the serving, and estimate its key nutritional values.

Gabriel Samain received their Engineer's degree from CentraleSupélec in 2015 after completing a General Engineering program. Prior to this, they attended Lycée Thiers from 2009 to 2011 as part of a CPGE program.
