Sean Kavanagh

Sean Kavanagh is an experienced commercial leader in the sports and sponsorship sectors, currently serving as the Commercial Director at the Football Association of Ireland since August 2022. Prior to this role, Kavanagh held various senior positions at Pentland Brands from May 2017 to July 2022, including Global Director Sponsorship & Licensing and Global Director of Sports Marketing & Sponsorship. Kavanagh's expertise in sports marketing was also demonstrated as Global Head of Sports Marketing & Sponsorship at Canterbury from May 2015 to April 2017. Earlier career milestones include roles at PUMA Group and Canterbury of New Zealand, where Kavanagh developed a strong foundation in sales management and marketing within the sports industry.
