Peter Wilson

Peter Wilson currently serves as the Girls Academy Manager and National Youth Team Coach at the Football Association of Wales, managing the WU17's National squad and previously coaching the WU15’s and WU16’s teams. Prior to this role, Peter held positions such as Girls Age Group Manager at FAW Trust, Girls RTC Age Group Coach at Birmingham City FC, and Academy Coach at Shrewsbury Town FC, with a strong focus on player development and talent identification across various age groups. Peter has extensive experience in overseeing girls and women's football programs, including being the Head of Girls & Women's Football at The New Saints Ladies Football Club and directing the Central Wales Performance Centre. Peter holds an MSc in Performance Coaching from the University of Stirling and a foundation degree in Sports Development and Coaching from the University of Staffordshire.
