Martin Collier

Martin Collier is an experienced facilities planning and football development professional with a strong background in sports management. Currently serving as Facilities Planning Manager at Football Foundation since March 2023, Martin previously held the position of Football Development Manager at Worcestershire Football Association for nearly a decade, where leadership in facilities and development initiatives was prominent. Martin’s career includes roles as Senior Football Development Officer and Football Development Officer, along with coaching positions, such as U18 Football Coach at Bromsgrove Sporting Limited and Academy Head Coach for under 9s at Cheltenham Town FC. Additionally, Martin founded and managed a multi-sports coaching company shortly after completing studies. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Worcester, a BSc (Hons) in Sports Development from the University of Gloucestershire, and a BTEC National Diploma in Sport and Outdoor Education from Swindon College.
