David D. Ulate

David D. Ulate, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. David D. began their career as a Mathematics Teacher at Fremont High School from 1997 to 2000. David D. then worked as a Tutor, Program Coordinator, and Summer Instructor at the TRIO, Upward Bound Program from 1992 to 2006. In 2000, they became the Department Manager, Program Coordinator, and Instructor for K-7 Mathematics at the Education Program for Gifted Youth. From 2007 to 2009, they served as the California Early College High School (ECHS) Policy Network Analyst for the Foundation for California Community. David D. then worked as an Educational Consultant from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, they joined Skyline College as a Research Analyst and later became the Interim Dean of Planning, Research, and Institutional Effectiveness from 2012 to 2014. David D. then worked as a Planning and Research Analyst at Cañada College in 2014. Currently, they are the Executive Director of Institutional Research & Planning at the Foothill-De Anza Community College District since 2015.

David D. Ulate, Ph.D. has a strong educational background in the field of education. David D. obtained a Ph.D. in Education from the University of California, Davis. Prior to their doctoral studies, they earned a Master of Arts in Education from San José State University. Additionally, they hold a Teaching Credential in Mathematics from the same institution. David also completed their undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Spanish.
