Foothill-De Anza Community College District
Shobha Oruganti is an accomplished mathematics educator with extensive experience in instruction at various academic institutions. Currently an instructor at Foothill and De Anza College since January 2017 and the Foothill-De Anza Community College District since October 2016, Shobha has also served as a part-time lecturer at IIIT Hyderabad from January 2013 to May 2016, and a part-time instructor at Bellevue College between September 2010 and June 2012, covering courses such as Multivariable Calculus and Business Calculus. Prior to these roles, Shobha held the position of assistant professor at Penn State University at Erie from August 2002 to July 2005 and taught full courses as a teaching assistant at Mississippi State University from August 1997 to June 2002. Shobha earned a Doctorate in Mathematics from Mississippi State University (1997-2002) and a Master's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (1995-1997).
